Pink Nails for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Not only is pink my favorite color, but it is also the color for Breast Cancer Awareness! This month (October) is all about bringing awareness to breast cancer, and I thought I would do a quick pink tape manicure tutorial to show my support. You can do this with any nail polish color, but I was thinking pink!! And here is the tutorial video for them!

All you need for this manicure is:
-A base nail polish color
-Another nail polish color
-Top Coat
-Tape

Start with a base color, and take a small piece of tape that will fit across one of your nails. It depends on how big you want your stripe to be of the complimenting/contrasting nail color, but place the tape so the top part of your nail is how much you want to be of the other color.

Make sure the tape is firmly pressed onto your nail, or the nail polish will seep through. Also make sure that before you place the tape on that your base color is completely dry!
Even though there is tape, neatly paint the tip of of your nail just where the tape is not.

Depending on what color you use to do this stripe, your number of coats will vary. It is best to wait until all  your coats are dry before peeling the tap off. Peel it off very slowly.
The tape may leave a sticky residue or odd surface, so if necessary wash your nails off (make sure your nails are dry before doing this). Finish up with a top coat!
This is with top coat
